Jitske Kramer, anthropologist, and Dolf Jansen, comedian, challenge one another to look at power, differences and similarities from a different perspective. How inclusive are people? What is expected of leaders? How do we ensure fewer conflicts and more understanding? With anthropological lessons from Jitske’s new book: Jam Cultures. And standup comedy by Dolf. This does come with the risk of both speakers attacking one another, with words, arguments and emotions of course. If you didn’t have unconscious prejudices, you definitely will after this pointed jam session in words.
Can be booked as an end-of-day session (30-45 minutes). Available in combination with Dolf and/or Jitske as chair.Book a performance
Jitske: I look forward to the focus and alertness that is called for when working with Dolf. When I talk about more general human patterns, Dolf links these to current events. His refreshing associations and connections keep sparking new ideas in me. An extra dimension is that these new insights mainly come about on stage...
Dolf: I look forward to the collaboration because Jitske’s work has a lot of my own opinions – on power, relationships between men and women, leadership – and I know for sure that I can add more (in the moment) to her strong content than all those healers, innovators and random passers-by that she meets during her travels. Plus: she’s so smart and quick-witted, that gives me an extra challenge...

Jitske Kramer travels all over the world to learn from traditional healers, leaders, surprising innovators and random passers-by. Looking for how we can be humans, together with other humans. Even if we find one another strange, or dislike one another. Jitske translates her anthropological knowledge back to the world of organizing, cooperation and leadership. To improve the strength and results of individuals and groups (and to make the world a more beautiful place). Much sought-after speaker. Co-author of The Corporate Tribe (2016 Management Book of the Year) and Building Tribes. Author of Deep Democracy, Wow! What a Difference and the new Jam Cultures.
